Aden And Anais
These Aussie mothers moved from Australia to the United States in 1996. In preparation for the arrival of their children, Aden and Anais, went in search of muslin wraps like the ones they had back home, a staple with Australian mothers. None of the wraps they found on the market in the US were the right size, they were too small to securely swaddle their babies. None of the materials the other wraps used were the same soft, breathable muslin cotton they were used to in Australia. So, they decided to make their own.
They also discovered that the only washcloths they could find were too harsh on their new babies’ skin. So they decided that muslin would be the ideal fabric to use on the delicate skin of their newborns at bath time, and so they also produced a line of soft cotton towels and muslin washcloths.
